1. White Collar:

(On Netflix) The TV series 'White Collar' is about a con-artist (Neal Caffrey) and an FBI agent (Peter Burke) who come together to work on cases to catch other white collar criminals.To stop him from running Peter Burke has him wear an electronic tracking device, with a 2 mile radius from his home. Neal Caffrey works with the FBI in exchange for his freedom. 



2. Black Mirror:

(On Netflix) The TV series 'Black Mirror' is about the dark side of life and technology. 
This sci-fi anthology series explores a twisted, high-tech near-future where humanity's greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide.





3. The Originals:

(On Netflix) The TV series 'The originals' is about 3 vampires who are the original vampires (Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah), who are trying to get their city back from Marcel who had crowned himself the new king. When Klaus founds out that 'Hayley' is expecting a child, he will do anything to protect his unborn child against his enemies.

4. Once upon a time:

(On Netflix) The TV series 'Once upon a time' is about fairy tale characters that do not know that they are from a fairy tale, because of a curse, and the only person who can stop it doesn't believe it's true.



5. Stranger Things:

When a young boy disappears, his mother, a police chief, and his friends must confront terrifying forces in order to get him back.






6. The Mist:

'The mist carries their deepest, darkest secrets. It know's them. and it waits just outside their doors.'


7. Teen wolf:

(On Netflix) 'Body hair? Acceptable, Enhanced lacrosse skills, Rad. But the mangled classmates, those could be trouble.' Teen wolf is a television series about a boy who gets bitten by a werewolf and has to protect mankind from his kind.


8. RuPaul's Drag race:

(On Netflix) Ru Paul's drag race is about a famous drag queen in the world (RuPaul) and a competition where drag queens compete against each other in various challenges to see who is eliminated and who will become the next drag queen.



9. Death in paradise:

(On Netflix) Death in paradise is set in the Caribbean (on a fictional island called 'Saint Marie') Caribbean murder cases are solved by a British detective Richard Poole. 


10. American Horror Story

(On Netflix) American Horror story is a horror series. Each season tells a different story. 
Season 1 is about a haunted house that a family moves into. 
Season 2 is about an insane asylum and a man who is wrongly accused of murdering women, including his wife. 
Season 3 is about a coven of witches who are trying to find out who the new 'supreme' is.
Season 4 is about a 'Freak show' and the lives of the performers.
Season 5 is about the guests at a hotel (Cortez), a building that was made as a secret torture chamber in the 1920's
Season 6 is about a farmhouse near Roanoke, North Carolina that is surrounded with ghosts of the lost colonists and other strange happening.
Season 7, which is not yet released is about clowns. (Trailer for season 7 is below)

1) they promoted it using social media platforms like snapchat, which had a filter that potential audiences could use and share with their friends. Competitions were ran and the jungle book themed prizes were advertised.  The film also  had a Super Bowl ad placement and a 3D preview in auditoria before the Star Wars movie. 2) social media was vital to the JB becoming a good film. Traditional methods like ‘word of mouth’ was used to advertise the film. Without social media the film would not have been as widely marketed as it was. 3)  42 percent of the film's domestic sales came from 3-D and premium-format screens.   The film was released in the Dolby Vision format in Dolby Cinema in the United States,   and is the first film to be released in Dolby Vision 3D (in a few select theatres in New York City and Chicago). Stranger things Both films have a scene where the kids are on a bike Both films include aliens Stranger things: Age analysis In the first clip of stranger things, the representation of age is shown through camera shots to show the stereotype of adults. A low angled shot was used where the adult (mum) was on the top of the stair and the children were at the bottom of them. The viewer was looking up at the adult with the children to the child's perspective. This shot was used to symbolize the authority and power of the adult. Over the shoulder shots were also used to show the child in between the adults (His mother and his father), this also shows the adults dominance over the children. The boy tries to ask his dad something but he tells him to 'listen to his mother' The mother/adults are also being responsible, as they send the kids home when it gets too late. Stranger things: Character description Joyce Byers Joyce is a major character, she is Will Byers mum who reports her son missing to Jim Hopper She conforms to the single parent stereotype, as she has to work long ours to support her family, as well as her eldest son having to work, to also help pay for things. Erratic, wants to find will, doesn't sleep, works hard She is Will's mum and reports him missing. She is constantly looking for him and doesn't stop until she finds him. Jim Hopper Jim is a major character, as he is the sheriff of the town. He is in charge of the missing persons case (Will Byers). He conforms to the stereotype of the male gender.. lazy, negative, not emotional however, on the other hand he is the stereotype of a sheriff and initiates a search party for Will.
