Jungle book questions

1) they promoted it using social media platforms like snapchat, which had a filter that potential audiences could use and share with their friends. Competitions were ran and the jungle book themed prizes were advertised.  The film also  had a Super Bowl ad placement and a 3D preview in auditoria before the Star Wars movie. 2) social media was vital to the JB becoming a good film. Traditional methods like ‘word of mouth’ was used to advertise the film. Without social media the film would not have been as widely marketed as it was. 3)  42 percent of the film's domestic sales came from 3-D and premium-format screens.   The film was released in the Dolby Vision format in Dolby Cinema in the United States,   and is the first film to be released in Dolby Vision 3D (in a few select theatres in New York City and Chicago). The fact that Disney is a big company allowed for the film to be shown in multiple ways as it was sure to do well at the box office.  4) A  Disney fan convention

Minecraft

Minecraft  is a 2011  sandbox video game  created by Swedish game developer  Markus Persson  and later developed by  Mojang . It allows players to build with a variety of different blocks in a  3D  world. Other activities in the game include exploration, resource gathering,  crafting , and combat. It was released on  18 November 2011 and since then there have been 3 different versions. These consist of a PC and Mac version, an Xbox version and a mobile phone version.  Originally,   Minecraft   was a pretty simple video game. The goal you’d originally have when launching   Minecraft   was to spawn in, survive, and build a few structures.  When   Minecraft   started out, you could really only place and break blocks. There was very little you could actually do. The additions to   Minecraft  like running and Redstone were added at the perfect time. Players felt the game was too slow without running and too simple without Redstone. After everybody seemed like they understood Redstone

Jungle book- 1967

Jungle Book Notes: Production and Technology The jungle book- 1967 (Walt Disney production) Created at Walt Disney Studios in California Used Cell animation (Hand drawn on glass) Story boarded and developed the use of multi plane- creates a 3D effect Disney's personal control affected all stages of production and distribution The story man was Bill Pete, who complained, noting that 'more than 40 men had once been assigned to these tasks. Jungle book was the final film Disney worked on before his death. Disney became more personally involved in the production process of new film. Original script was too dark for family audiences- would not be able to identify with the boy, Mowgli, the tiger, Shere Kaan. It would be a cliché Copy of Rudyard Kipling's novel. M any of the original characters and situations were cut out, creating a clearer story line The drawings were now based on the actors Wolfgand Reitherman was the director Incorporate the personali

Statement of intent

Statement of intent I will start the project by creating a website followed by a music video for an artist that I have created. Using the song ‘Most Girls’ by Hailee Steinfeld. I have chosen to use this song as it shows the features and conventions of the dance music genre. The website will include: the name of the artist and a link to the music video (which is on YouTube), it will also have images of the artist and a distinctive font that will be used on the website. The website will feature a brief introduction about the artist, which will also contain ample amounts of images of the artist and the actors. The website will have multiple images and styles to distinguish them from other artists and create their own representation of themselves. The website will have links to the artist social media accounts, so that they can promote themselves and interact with their fans.   The website that I am creating will contain a variety of images that includes a range of different
